Inspired to create an event planning and design company for the adventurous couple planning a destination wedding in Colorado.  Owner Melanie Rendleman left the corporate world in 2014 to launch Rocky Mountain Wed.  After working 15+ years as a corporate event planner Melanie decided she wanted to work one on one with couples to build personal relationships and help couples navigate their destination wedding with minimal stress.  Armed with an unique understanding of the destination couple, Melanie set out to redefine the wedding planning and the event design experience. Her objective: to make the planning and designing as enjoyable as the wedding.

Melanie received her undergraduate from the University of Illinois and a Masters degree from Colorado State University.  She lives in splits time between Denver and Fraser Colorado with her husband and three fur babies.

Melanie also owns WoodStem Floral & Decor a fresh flower store and event rental company with locations in Granby and Winter Park, Colorado.

 

In her spare time Melanie enjoys keeping up with wedding trends, gardening and spending hours playing fetch with her two doggies: Sadie and Bailey.
